God has proven His faithfulness time and time again as we walk through life with Him. Here we share both the ups and downs and what He is teaching us about His faithfulness through it all.

Katrina's First Tea Party
Yesterday we had a little surprise birthday tea for my mom at Johanna May's Fine Teas in Schofield. It was such a fun, memorable time.
We hope you had as nice of a time as we did, Mom.

8 Months and What I Am Up To
I am 8 months old. 2/3 of a year already. It's not hard to believe for me. But it is hard for my mama and papa to believe.
I am doing some new things.
I learned to creep/crawl/army crawl 2 weeks ago. I get all over the place now. So much so that Mama has to keep the gate closed ALL the time now.
I am eating some solid-solid foods. I enjoy puffs and even some Ritz crackers. Yesterday Mama gave me a few Nilla wafers and I really enjoyed those. But she decided they are not the best just yet as they don't crumble like Ritz and Townhouse.
I am sleeping through the night but not on a consistent basis again. I was doing a better job but I think I am getting some teeth and that hurts, if you don't remember, so I have been waking up maybe once a night to get Mama to come in and cuddle a bit. I think she secretly likes it!
I am wearing 12 month clothes, even some 12-18 month clothes.
Mama just weighed me on the bathroom scale and I weigh 23 pounds. That is probably pretty accurate since when I went to my 6 month appointment I was 20 pounds and that was 2 months ago now.
According to Mama, I am still the sweetest little thing. I have such a great disposition and temperment. I am a content baby an all-around happy guy.

No more fever
Samuel's fever broke.
We think it was related to teething.
How do we know?
Well, this picture might give you a clue.
And you cannot even see how chapped his cheeks are...

Busy Doesn't Even Begin to Explain
Since school has started things have been busy here. Actually, busy doesn't even begin to explain how I have felt.
I know it seems funny to think that it has been busy for us since school started since we don't really go to school yet. But, remember, Pancho is finishing his mechanical engineering degree through UW-Platteville and is therefore taking courses every semester and even in the summer. My teaching license expires in June and therefore I too am taking a 3-credit correspondence course through Augustana College. Then, I am taking the Beth Moore Esther Bible study at church and that has homework as well. Katrina is enrolled in Cubbies at AWANA at church on Wednesday nights and is working diligently on her verses each day. Not to mention the normal, everyday stuff we do day-in and day-out as a family of four.
So, if the blog seems to be lacking in posts, it is my fault. I simply am not taking a lot of pictures and if I do, I don't have the time to write a post. I want to keep up, but something has to give and unfortunately for you, it is the blog right now!
Fever
Samuel has his first real fever.
He is quite chipper for having an axillary fever of 102.2 (yesterday afternoon).
We are giving him Tylenol and watching to see how he fares today.
Poor little guy...

First Ride
We went to the park on Thursday evening. We were going to walk but then I thought it would be fun for Katrina and Samuel to ride in the trailer so we put Samuel in to see how he would do and he did really well. They had a blast together behind Panchito's bike. We will definitely be using that mode of transportation as much as we can in the warm weather that is left before winter hits.
