Breakfast for dinner

Tonight we had pancakes for dinner. This is the first time in our married life we have had breakfast for dinner. Do you know why?

It is one of my pet peeves! I hate breakfast for dinner! Whenever my mom did it growing up (which was not too often) I hated it. I vowed to NEVER do it.

Maybe it's because I like meat so much and most often breakfast for dinner does not involve meat. I really don't know. I guess too, that I really don't enjoy most breakfast things, or I would not choose them over lunch/dinner things. But that probably traces back to meat too.

Anyway, Katrina had been asking for pancakes for the last few days and when we have activities to go to in the morning she is lucky to get a cereal bar for breakfast so pancakes is definitely not an option. And, I simply could not think of anything I wanted to make for dinner. So, pancakes it was.

Pancho ate some leftover pasta from Grazie's and then indulged in a few pancakes even though he had turned his nose up at the idea when I told him what we were having.

It wasn't THAT bad. I just hope it doesn't happen too terribly often!
