Samuel got tubes put in his ears this morning.
It was traumatic for Mama and Papa but he went through it like it was old hat. He is a bit more ornery today, which is to be expected, but other than that it looks like a done deal.
When the doctor came to speak with us in the waiting room he said that they had to suction out "a lot, and much more in the left than in the right, of rubber-cement pus from behind his ear drums."
He said it was no wonder he failed the hearing test and that he would not be surprised if Samuel was much more sensitive to sound now than he was before.
We are so thankful to God for the blessing of Samuel and we are also so thankful that he came through everything with flying colors.
He is our little man and we love him so very much.
