The Grim family blessed us greatly this summer. They gave us a season pass to the Weston Aquatic Center. Last night we went for the first time.
Katrina had a wonderful time and did not want to leave.
Last year I took her there one time and she was scared of being splashed by the other kids (which is inevitable if you have ever been to a pool like this!). I figured this year she would do much better because she has been in swimming lessons and is more accustomed to the water.
Like I said, she enjoyed it so much and so did we. I have said this before in other posts, but I must reiterate...
It is such a joy to watch those you love enjoy something greatly.
At night when we put Katrina to bed she likes to know what the plan is for the following day. Last night I really didn't have a plan for today. I said, "I don't know what we will do, Katrina. We will think of something." She said, "Go to the pool, Mama?"
You guessed it, we are gearing up to go to the pool in about an hour!
We will definitely make good use of the season pass!
