Full-circle

Back in the day, when I was a young teen (13 and 14) I was a 5-day club presenter.
I would meet the other presenter at the director's house and together we would drive away in a HUGE station wagon
(you know the kind: with the wood paneling that have a seat in the "way-far back" where you look at where you have been instead of where you are going)
around town, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with the children of the neighborhood.

It seems as though life has come full-circle for me.
This week we are hosting a 5-day club.

We had invited several friends from the neighborhood already but yesterday morning I thought it would be fun for Katrina to ride her bike and hand out just a few more invitations.
So, we went to the Dollar Tree and bought some balloons, came home, tied one on her bike and another on the stroller and we set out on our street and a few surrounding streets to invite the children.

At 1:00 the presenters arrived and there were already children here waiting.
Some came on bikes, some in cars and some walked.
It was so windy that I offered the garage as the site for their first club.
It worked out really well.
I came inside after everyone was settled and praised the Lord for 12 children and 3 teens in our garage learning about Jesus Christ and His work on the cross.

The kids had a great time and as I handed out the snack, I asked,
"Did you have fun?"
All 12 of them replied that they did and when I said I hoped they would be back tomorrow,
again, unanimous yeses.

3 John 1:4
"I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth."
