My in-laws are coming at the end
of August, Lord willing.
This will be the first time they meet one of our
children when the child is teeny-tiny.
They met Katrina when she was 4
months old when we traveled to Venezuela.
They met Samuel when he was 4 months old
when they traveled here.
If you know me at all you know
that I have already begun to plan meals.
I meal plan for our family each week
but when we have guests,
I like to serve their favorites when possible.
Saturday Pancho went fishing with my dad.
They caught some crappies and my dad graciously
gave them all to us for dinner that evening.
As I was making the meal I thought of my
mother-in-law.
She loves fish.
She loves salad.
She loves wild rice.
This meal is a meal for my
mother-in-law.
Hopefully we will see a repeat of this
meal while they are here in a
few months.
