We tried to take pictures of each thing.
The first course:
Salmon served on curved spoons
Beef tenderloin tartar
Crab cakes
Pesto bruschetta
Second course:
Spicy BBQ ribs
Chicken stuffed with raw fish
Grouper with a vegetable relish
Third course:
Tiramisu
Berry cheesecake
White chocolate truffle
Needless to say we are full! If you know me at all, you know that Pancho was able to enjoy two of a few of the items.
It is difficult to eat three courses as a family of five when three members eat only the main course (the kids had grilled chicken breast and fries). The restaurant opened at 6 and we made reservations for 6 which ended up being perfect because no one else even came until 6:45 at the earliest! The kids could act like kids, practicing their best manners but making some mistakes without us feeling like we were disrupting anyone else's meal.
After dinner we got ice cream bars one last time for the kids and went to the front desk to order a taxi for 6 am. We need to be at the airport by 6:30 for our 7:30 flight.
We have the bags pretty much packed and we are super excited to see Abuela, Francys, fanny, Veronica and Daniel tomorrow.
