Tuesday morning activities

We had a great night of rest.
We all slept until 9:00 am!
We got the "American" breakfast buffet, which was very tasty and very filling.
We had a few breakfast guests (see pictures).
After a leisurely breakfast we walked a short way to the private beach where we enjoyed the water and the sand.
Katrina and Samuel enjoyed swimming and finding coral and shells.
The dry and wet sand were new sensory experiences for Joel but with time he began to walk up and down the beach with Pancho or me.
He knows another word: ouch. When the water came up on the sand and touched his feet, he said "ouch!"
He fell into the water a few times and we captured his reaction.
Right now he has a plastic cup to play with and when he loses it in the water he runs at the edge until he has enough courage to grab it.
Soon we will head to the dolphin academy.
Today we both see this as a fun family vacation experience. Last night, after 24 hours of travel and three flights, I wasn't so sure. Even though the photos from dinner look great; we were super stressed as the kids were at their wits end being corralled yet again to chairs at the dinner table and eating under the stars sounds wonderful but when you are frequently correcting children, it's not all that sweet!
Today, however, we are truly experiencing God's new mercies and His amazing creation in 85 degree weather.
