10 Months Already and Where I am Off To
I am ten months old already. Mama and Papa keep saying (every month!) that they cannot believe how fast I am growing. Well, get used to it, right? That is what kids do: GROW!
So, I normally tell you what I am up but Mama wanted me to tell you this month where I am off to. I am becoming more and more mobile.
I cannot officially walk yet, in fact I stood by myself one time for Mama and Papa but I have not done it again.
I walk around furniture and behind carts and cars and whatever else moves (even things that don't like stools and dining room table chairs).
My favorite place to go is to the stairs! I try to sneak to the landing without my mama finding out and then I go as fast as I can up the two steps to the landing and then I begin to scale the bigger flight of steps. Neither Mama nor Papa are too thrilled that I do this alone but the thrill I get doing it is worth their frustration. I mean, it is so amazing to think that I can get basically anywhere in the house by myself. And, unfortunately for me, that is the part they are not so keen on! Aghhh!
Mama weighed me on our scale here this morning and I weighed 28.5 pounds. That was with all of my clothes and a clean diaper on. I doubt I weigh that much, but you get the idea of about how much I weigh.
She measured me as well and I measured around 30 inches. This was really comical because she tried to measure me standing up. I mean, I know I am getting big and everything, but standing? I was bouncing and jiggling so it was a tough task.
I am eating most table foods. I especially like quesadillas and cereal bars. My sister still eats pasta quite a bit and Mama gives it to me, but I am more particular about the type of pasta it is. I don't really like rotini (one of Katrina's favorites) but I do enjoy regular spaghetti. Mama has a tough time feeding that to me because it is more cumbersome for a baby, but I manage just fine. I am really looking forward to our late lunch/early dinner tomorrow. Mama says we are having a special meal called Thanksgiving. It will be really yummy, I think, and I am looking forward to trying ALL the special food.
So, that is about it. Oh, the most important thing I almost forgot...
I am sleeping at night from 7:30ish to 7:30ish in the morning. And I take two pretty good naps during the day and I put myself to sleep for all of it. I wake up on occasion during the night just to throw a bit of a wrench in the works, but that is what little boys are supposed to do, or so I am told.
I hope to help Mama take some more pictures of me so you can continue to watch me grow and change! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.
