Ready?
Set.
Go!
We have all the passports and we are ready to travel to Venezuela for Christmas. Praise the Lord for His provision for our upcoming trip!
Several praises:
All four of us are traveling with AMERICAN passports. This is Pancho's first American passport and our first trip overseas with him as an American! How exciting.
Because of the purchase of our new home we were planning to delay our trip until spring or even later but God led us to some very economical flights and we are able to go for three long weeks. We have never been able to go for that long! Pancho's sisters and our niece have not met Samuel in person so this will be a SUPER exciting trip.
Samuel's birthday is January 19th and we will have a Venezuelan celebration with family and friends in Venezuela the Saturday before we leave. Katrina was blessed to celebrate her first birthday in Venezuela as well so we feel like it is a little tradition!
Details:
We leave December 24th from Minneapolis and fly to Houston. We board another flight in Houston at midnight, fly through the night (we are praying this goes well for all four of us!) and arrive in Caracas at 6:00 AM. We make our way from the international airport in Caracas to the national airport and we should be arriving in Puerto Ordaz and hugging our Venezuelan family around noon on Christmas Day.
Please pray:
Safety in travels
Good rest on the trip down
Most memorable time reuniting with Venezuelan family and friends
