Best Thanksgiving Ever -- Hands Down

1 -- 4 generations (Grandma Gehring, Dad, Me, Katrina and Samuel)
2 -- Lisa (my sister-in-law's sister and our dear friend)
3 -- Us
4 -- Mom and Dad
5 -- Samuel
6 -- Amber, Leanne and Me (sister-in-laws and dear friends) (we didn't even plan to all wear purple!)
7 -- Leanne and Shawn
8 -- Katrina and her favorite person in all the world, Amber
9 -- Nick and Amber (doing an extra credit assignment from the game Spouse-ology)

Yesterday we celebrated Thanksgiving with the Gehring family at our house. My grandma Gehring came to join us as she has every Thanksgiving. We all shared in the food preparation and we all were very full after the delicious meal.
I can't put my finger on why I am considering it the BEST Thanksgiving ever, but it definitely was! We enjoyed ourselves so much and I can't wait to have another gathering like this again.
There are various possibilities as to why it was the BEST Thanksgiving ever...
We have never celebrated Thanksgiving with Samuel. I was pregnant with him last Thanksgiving.
We have never celebrated Thanksgiving with all three of us (my brothers and me) married. Having Amber as an official Gehring was great.
We have never celebrated Thanksgiving with Lisa. We are so glad you joined us this year, Lisa. We hope you can come every year!
This is the first year having Thanksgiving in the new house.
One thing is for sure... We are blessed beyond belief and overwhelmed with gratitude to our gracious God. This has been the case every single year, though.
