Fairmont Fair 2010

Fairmont Fair is a HUGE event for young children at our church. This is the first year that Katrina has remembered what it is and has been SO excited about going. On Wednesday night after Cubbies they started to set up the fair in the gym at IBC and Katrina figured out that it was only a matter of days before she was going to be able to go to Fairmont Fair. She was beyond excited. Every day she asked, "Do we go today after lunch?" On Friday evening after a family dinner my mom said, "Have fun at Fairmont Fair tomorrow, Katrina." Katrina replied, "After lunch we will go to Fairmont Fair, Nana." I have learned that I have to be very specific with her!
Here are some highlights from this year's Fairmont Fair.

I had to include a picture from last year at Fairmont Fair because Samuel was only 2 weeks old and we went with him in the sling.

Needless to say, it was much easier to cart him around last year! This year he wanted to get into everything and run all over and if you have ever been there, you know that a one-year-old who learned to walk in the last month should NOT be allowed to run around! He enjoyed the sights and sounds from my hip (or Papa's) and that had to do for this year.
I cannot wait to see what he is like next year!
